Role: Trade Counter SupervisorLocation: Burton on Trent AreaSector: Timber / Building Materials / Construction Supplies / Builders MerchantsPackage: £23,000 - £25,000With a network of branches our client supplies a range of timber and building products to the construction sector.Due to growth this highly successful branch is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Trade Counter Supervisor to join their busy site. This is an interesting and varied role as you would be supervising the trade counter but in addition to thisyoull be ordering stock for the shop and maintaining the displays etc as well. This hybrid role therefore offers the right candidate a varied and interesting day with a great scope for generating new business as well as keeping existing ones happy. You willwork with the sales team as you will no doubt generate business from walk in customers as well as some from telephone calls as well.Dealing with many large sectors within the market but also targeting niches sectors, this a well respected and highly successful business. This role could give the ideal candidate their first management style role and this would be a great stepping stonefor people wishing to further their career on the management side.An ideal candidate would have good timber knowledge but as a minimum they should have some sales or trade counter experience in a builders merchants environment. Some form of supervisory experience is also required in one form or another.
