Job Description

A senior technical support role, working alongside customers and the field sales team, for this leading roofing manufacturer.Job Title: Technical Roofing Expert Location: Commutable to my client Burton-on-Trent office Package: competitive basic salary, with car allowance, pension and 26 days holidayTHE ROLE - Technical Roofing Expert

  • Responsible for providing technical advice and support on my clients range of roofing materials, with the emphasis on pitched roof tiles and profiled sheeting
  • Supporting the external sales team with product information and technical enquiries
  • Whilst equally working alongside their roofing contractors, installers and agricultural frame manufacturing customers.
  • Again providing products and technical advice and support on housing and agricultural projects, before, during and after installation
  • Producing technical literature and support other stakeholders in the business to produce accurate technical guides.
  • Representing the company on committees, support in product innovation and provide training support for the sales teams.
    • THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:
  • Firstly and most importantly you will have a wealth of experience within the roofing industry, and knowledge of roof tiles and profiled sheeting
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to multi-task while working with different disciplines
  • Familiar with CAD and BIM
