Job Description

Technical Engineer (Manufacturing)£38,000 - £45,000 + Training + Development + Early Finish FridayBurton-on-Trent Do you have any experience of CAD and SolidEdge and a desire to join a market leading company that offer an excellent company culture and work/life balance as well as fantastic training and development opportunitiesDo you have an interest in the trailer market and joining a supplier of products to the trailer and industrial markets, that will offer you extensive training on BOMs, regulations and directives, including statutory approvalsThe company have been established for around 50 years, and work on the manufacture and supply of products, both catalogue and bespoke, and all in line with European guidelines ad regulations.They are looking for a CAD engineer with any knowledge of Solidedge and an interest in mechanical engineeringThe role:

  • CAD design and development of products with a consideration of legal requirements and materials
  • Creation and reading of technical drawings
  • Bill of Material (BOM) creation within the ERP System
The person:
  • CAD knowledge and experience and in interest in Mechanical Design Engineering
