Job Description

Our small and busy branch in Burton on Trent is recruiting a Team Supervisor. Key to this role is supporting the manager in the day to day running of the branch and offering guidance to the team.This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis working Monday-Friday within the branch opening hours of 7.30am - 5pm. You will also need to work one in three Saturdays from 8am - 12pm.About the roleMain duties are:

  • working in the office dealing with sales orders and enquiries over the phone
  • serving customers over the trade counter
  • processing sales orders and working to set targets
  • offering additional support to the manager, looking after the branch and supervising the team
  • making sure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
  • merchandising and checking stock
    • You will also be required to support in the warehouse with stock and deliveries.About youKnowledge within the plumbing and heating industry and experience of working in the trade sector is desirable and will enable you to support the team and our customers in continuing to deliver a first class service. Otherwise you may currently be a Team Leader within a different sector looking to develop yourself within our industry.Your ability to lead and motivate our team will play a big part in your success within this role.Having a supportive and consultative style are key attributes to your success.You may need to drive the company vehicle from time to time therefore a full UK driving license is essential.About your development and benefitsWe aim to unlock your potential and equip you with all the skills required to move to the next stage in your career with us.
