Job Description

Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching AssistantsEmpowering Learning are working in partnership with a Special Educational Needs Setting in Burton on Trent to assist with their recruitment for Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching AssistantsAre you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs Are you seeking a full time position Mon- Thurs: 8.15 am- 4.15 pm, Friday 8:15am - 3:00pmThis position is a 12 week temporary to permanent position offering a starting daily rate of £95 per day and a salary between £18,861.96 - £20,377.97 after 12 weeks.

Responsibilities:
  • Support children with autism, speech and language disorders, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and associated behavioural challenges.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to implement individualised education plans.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS clearance.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting childrens development.
