Job Description

A successful manufacturing business based in Burton are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Supply Chain Office Manager your duties will include:

  • Assisting with raw material and finished goods levels to meet production / customer requirements whilst also maximising working capital benefits by working with Head of Finance to control inventory levels against agreed KPIs
  • Producing works instructions and sales orders from customers order and help with any customer issues
  • Assisting with purchasing of raw materials
  • Producing and analysing various reports to assist different departments with KPIs and efficient proactive planning
  • Ordering raw material as required, using stock analysis reports to order materials in good time based on minimum order levels and suppliers lead time. Raising purchase orders as per the process, liaising with Supply Chain Manager
  • Assisting with ongoing stock control and monitoring stock levels, using Efacs reports and pre-prepared Excel spreadsheets, reporting and highlighting any anomalies and concerns
  • Assisting with month end reporting and inputting quarterly stock check information
  • Using orders and schedules received via email, create sales orders and works orders on Efacs and monitor stocks that hit re-order levels and in conjunction with the Office Manager, decide what to order and place purchase orders with suppliers
  • Using available reports and self-created spreadsheets to analyse data to create tables, charts etc, for use by various departments
As the Supply Chain Office Administrator, you will have experience with Microsoft Office especially Excel, have good communication skills and demonstrate a positive approach to teamwork.In return you will receive a salary of £25,000, 25 days holiday plus stats and a Christmas and Summer shutdown.Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with an hour for lunch, there can be some flexibility around these hours.
