Job Description

Are you an experienced Shift Manager Do you have experience working in a FMCG or Food manufacturing environment If so, I have the roles for you! My client is a leading food manufacturing organisation, and they are looking for experienced ShiftManagers to join them. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar environment, supervising production line operations in accordance with factory policies and procedures ensuring smooth production operations during shifts.Shift ManagerPermanentDependant on ExperienceDouble Days (6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm) OR Nights + Night Shift Allowance (10pm – 6am)Burton on TrentShift ManagerJob Description

  • Work closely with the Production Manager, ensure sufficient shift resources and if necessary address any variations to plan.
  • Management of Shift rotas and crew size to be within budget (Including Agency)
  • Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers.
  • Completion of shift paperwork, reports and communication of plans/ target attainment.
  • Liaison with other stakeholders i.e. Engineering, Planning, technical and purchasing.
  • Responsible for carrying out any duties required of them up to the level of training attained.
Shift ManagerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous Shift Management experience
  • Previous experience working within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is desirable
  • Computer literate
