Job Description

Job Profile for Service and Maintenance Engineer - RE252421Service and Maintenance Engineer required. My client is a leading supplier and maintainer of Electrical Power equipment (Loadbanks, Generators and Transformers) and is currently looking to hire an experienced Service and Maintnenace Engineerto look after their fleet of Rental equipment. The ideal candidate will come from an Electrical Engineering background, have Loadbank or Transformer experinece and will be prepared to travel nationally with the role.You will need a full Driving licence for this role.Service and Maintenance Engineer Position Overview

  • Routine maintenance of all equipment to ensure optimum utilisation both in the depot and on site
  • Identification of equipment that requires more than routine maintenance to manufacturing department.
  • Testing of the Rental Fleet (Loadbanks, Transformers, Laptops, Handheld Controllers, Control Cables, Etc.)
  • Installation of Crestchic rental equipment on customer sites.
  • Electrical safety testing prior to System Energisation
  • Commissioning larger packages
  • Making final connections to clients panel/breaker
  • Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK
Service and Maintenance Engineer Position Requirements
  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering
  • City and Guilds 18th edition
  • Previous experience with Electrical installation and Commissioning
  • Experienced working on Power Equipment (Loadbanks, Generators, Transformers Etc.)
  • ECS / CSCS Card a bonus
  • Prepared to travel nationally for the role
  • Full Driving licence
Service and Maintenance Engineer Position Remuneration
  • £18.18 per hour on a 40 hour week (£37,814.40)
  • 40 hour week Monday - Friday (8:30 - 17:00)
  • Weekday and Saturday overtime paid at time and a half with Sundays paid at double time
  • 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
