Leading Digital Services Provider are looking for a Senior Insight Analyst to join their Marketing team to enable greater self-service and to react faster to market opportunities as they arise. Driving actionable insights the role will be at the heart of making sure that through solid customer insights, opportunities to add and demonstrate value to the business and customers are realised.Key responsibilities:Technical

  • Data Collection: Identify, and support the development of data structures (using SQL) to enable a high level of self-service reporting within marketing through close liaison with I.T.
  • Data Analysis: Ensure that the Business Intelligence needs of the marketing department are identified and delivered to the correct quality and within agreed timescales
  • Analyse Data using advanced Excel / VBA skills (or similar e.g. DAX in PowerBI)
  • Enhance use of Data Visualisation and Dashboarding (experience of PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik or similar is essential)
  • Data Governance: Ensuring adherence to all architectural, governance and compliance requirements

  • Understand the business strategy
  • Ensure information strategy aligns with the business strategy and adds value by providing clarity and focus
  • Deliver data driven initiatives to drive value to support the marketing function
    • People
  • Work closely as a business partner within the marketing department, to ensure availability and accuracy of data to empower the marketing department to add more value
  • Coach and develop understanding and help develop greater self-service in the marketing department
  • Present findings to stakeholders and external partners
    • Leadership
  • Lead the Marketing data provision requirements for the business
    • Required knowledge and skills:
  • Advanced SQL or similar (MS SQL, Oracle, Teradata), the ability to develop datasets which are highly performant, using indexes, advanced analytical functions
  • High level Technical data visualization skills in Tableau or PowerBI or similar
  • Knowledge of GDPR compliance requirements
  • A high level of Customer Insight / Marketing data experience
  • Analytical Skills including interpreting data and presenting the findings to stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to translate data into clear actionable insights
  • Stakeholder Management, influencing behaviour and asking the right questions, as well as strong communication skills
  • Good project management skills, able to own and manage analytics tasks end-to-end
  • Evidence of ongoing continued professional development
    • Profile
