With a commitment to innovation and a steadfast dedication to excellence, our client is at the forefrontof revolutionising the energy landscapeDescriptionTeam Leadership:* Lead and mentor a team of 3 to 4 finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.* Oversee day-to-day operations, providing guidance on technical matters and professional development.Treasury and Payroll Management:* Manage treasury functions, optimising cash flow and ensuring financial stability.* Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Month-End Closing:* Take charge of the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.* Collaborate with team members to streamline procedures and enhance efficiency.Financial Governance:* Implement and maintain robust financial governance practices.* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.ERP Upgrade Project:* Play a pivotal role in the upcoming ERP system upgrade.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and optimise system capabilities.Financial Analysis and Reporting:* Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.Profile1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).2. Proven experience in a financial accounting role.3. Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge.4. Track record of managing and developing teams.5.
