Job Description

Recruitment ConsultantPermanent DivisionBasic to £35,000 depending upon experienceCommission - uncappedBonus + 33 days holiday + Pension + Private MedicalThis is a mid-sized recruitment consultancy business with a strong local presence. They are highly successful, professional, and personable and they are looking for an experienced Perms Recruitment Consultant to join the team.This is a highly autonomous role where you will be expected to self-manage, develop your own desk and increase overall perms revenue. The role will be interesting and varied and will include:

  • Taking vacancies from a wide range of locally based clients.
  • Advertising roles on job boards, social media etc.
  • Interviewing and assessing successful candidates.
  • Offering a consultative service to all contacts.
  • Handling offers, rejections and negotiations.
You will need to be self-motivated, ambitious, and capable of identifying business opportunities and developing long term relationships with all your contacts. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are essential as is a confident personality.You will have previous Recruitment Industry agency experience, a full UK driving license, and will be looking for a long-term career move.Any recruitment industry sector experience will be considered with a preference going to candidates with a permanent recruitment background.
