Job Description

Salary up to £23kHybrid - working 2 days on-site per weekA fantastic opportunity for a PO Administrator to join a progressive organisation who are focussed on service delivery. The purpose of the role is to support the wider Business on Purchase Order Processing and receipting, and to reduce non-conformance.Duties

  • Management of purchase requisition process ensuring accurate, relevant and properly completed PRs are raised.
  • Drive timely compliance of PO receipting through monitoring and feedback with departments.
  • Respond to general procurement queries and raise and send purchase orders as required.
  • Communicate regularly with functions regarding the status of outstanding POs and ensure that old/unrequired POs are closed promptly.
  • Resolve non-conformance to the No Po No Pay policy with suppliers in conjunction with AP and Business function.
  • Support invoice discrepancy process and timely resolution of invoice matching related queries.
  • Ensure high standards of service are achieved within stringent timescales.
Candidate Requirements
  • Educated to at least A-level in a business-related subject and have GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Experience of dealing with suppliers, and customers.
  • Proficient in the use of computer systems, particularly Excel, Power BI, MS Office suite and preferably D365.
  • Team orientated.
  • Ability to communicate with non-finance colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to multitask, assess and meet priorities through good time management.
  • Good analytical capability and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
