This is a Maintenance Administrator role to work for a large company based in Bury St Edmunds.This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well-known brand within a growing organisation. We are looking for passionate individuals with excellent communication skills to join the Property Management team to assist with coordinating repairs and to assistwith the administration of any issues.Role Purpose:Provide support to the Senior Surveyor to ensure a co-ordinated, integrated approach between the surveying team, helpdesk, compliance and the external contractors/suppliers to provide an effective, customer focused service to the House Managers and Operationalteams.Responsibilities:Manage and co-ordinate all property related medium and large repairs as directed by the surveying team within a geographical area to manage business expectations, control business criticality and monitor budget authority.To allocate an appropriate contractor/supplier to use for efficient and cost effective resolution of the issues, proactively managing the contractors performance with the surveying team.Monitor sites for repetitive and/or inherent issues and escalate to surveying team to investigate alternative repair options.Provide support to and co-ordination with the regional surveyors, maintenance technicians, helpdesk, compliance and Pulse support teams to ensure a fully integrated repair and maintenance service.Co-ordinate Annual Property Inspection (APIs) submissions from the surveying team to the odrive house files and extract/schedule annual budgeting requirements across all elements.About youA passion for the industry and history of providing a first class service to customers.Excellent communication skills and an ability to make a persuasive and clear presentation of ideas or facts.Ability to establish an effective course of action to meet deadlines and deliver agreed results.Outstanding work planning skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and achieve within tight deadlines.Ability to act on own initiative.
