Job Description

Are you interested in MicrobiologyDo you want to join an enthusiastic team delivering water and environmental analysis to a wide range of clients across the UK with the UKs number one testing, inspection and compliance companyWe are now looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join the Environmental Microbiology Team in Burton on Trent!There is plenty of room for progression!WORKING DAYS: MONDAY- FRIDAYWORKING TIME : 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM£10 PER HOURYOUR DAY TO DAY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Use Membrane filtration of water and environmental samples
  • Basic Microbiology analysis
  • Media Preparation and Sterilisation
  • General Laboratory Housekeeping
About you: Were looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team.Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also have:
  • Experience within a laboratory (preferably microbiological)
  • Good personal time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Computer literate and data analysis skills
  • Initiative and drive to work in a fast paced environment
