Job Description

IT TechnicianFull time: 37 hours per week Starting salary: £23,029 per annumWorking closely with the various technical tiers within the department you will assist in maintaining the College’s varied computing estate and that of its related partnerships. You will have direct contact with our end users, delivering a professional andsupportive service across computing, presentation, telephony and printing services. Excellent team working and communication skills will help you deliver the best service possible.You will have hands on technical experience of installation and support of IT technologies, diagnosis of faults and how to correct them quickly, working to the teams Service Level Agreement. Essential for this role is experience of Microsoft Windows operatingsystems, Microsoft Office and Internet Browsers as well as confidence working with various hardware and mobile technology platforms. Knowledge of Apple Macintosh and Windows server operating systems would be desirable.
