HR AdministratorBurton on Trent£11.48 per hourMon - Fri, 08:30am - 17:00pmOverview:Grafton are recruiting for a client that has a strong heritage in delivering product innovation, a true understanding of the market and is well-respected supplier to the global foodservice market with a Quality added reputation for product innovation, value-addedand high quality products.The Role of a HR AdministratorAs a HR Administrator, you will be supporting the HR Manager and HR Advisor in the delivery and execution of the overall site people agenda and HR strategy. Providing administrative support to the HR team and Company.Key Responsibilities of a HR Administrator:

  • Forming daily and monthly reports and circulating where necessary, following up and inputting relevant details from this.
  • Data Entry into HR Systems Rexx/ATOSS/Moorepay/Valentine Occupational Health
  • Assist the HR team in writing letters, contracts and any other forms of communication deemed necessary.
  • Assist in Recruitment, communicating with the HR Team, Recruitment Agency and Recruiting Manager.
  • Manage New Starters and Leaver paperwork, ensuring all documentation is taken and scanned included Right to Work checks.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of an effective operational HR service by continually developing an understanding of the wider HR agenda and proactively seeking to assist the HR Manager/HR Advisor in the development of the HR service.
  • Ensuring that line Managers adopt practices that are consistent with HR policies and procedures, best practice and current legislation and that these practices are consistently applied.
  • Working with key stakeholders to improve employee experience across the site.
  • Encourage and help drive the sites food safety culture, to help prevent deviation in the process that impacts the safety, quality and legality of our products.
  • Understand and adhere to Company policies and procedures which are relevant to both the site and the working environment.
Essential Requirements
  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in an HR capacity
  • Experience working in a fast moving environment
  • Good planning and facilitation skills, with attention to detail and can identify errors in data or written information
  • Good working knowledge of using Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and HR database systems
  • Presents information verbally and in writing with clarity and credibility, ensuring the information is suitable for the audience at that time
  • Demonstrates good judgement and close attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality within the HR team, the wider business and in external environments.
