Job Description

Health and Wellbeing Course LeaderFull time, 37 hours per week£27,304£30,743 per annumBurton on Trent, Town Centre CampusWho are we looking forBurton and South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint a professional who has industry/teaching experience in Health, Wellbeing and Mental health.The successful candidate will be required to teach core Health related topics to support learners gain a depth understanding on factors that contribute towards healthy living. Candidate must be able to deliver core technical and soft skills required by localemployers within the health sector. Your duties would involve teaching on a range of courses from Level 2 to Level 5, dependant on your specialisms & experience.We are looking for someone who is committed to helping learners stretch and challenge themselves and develop the skills sets necessary for progressing onto their next career step. As a Course Leader at Burton & South Derbyshire College you will have theopportunity to really make a difference to your learners, helping to shape their future and playing a key role in their personal development and success.It is essential that you hold a Level 6 relevant Health and Social Care qualification, as well as an appropriate teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one). It is desirable that you will have experienceof working within the health and socialcare sector. All applications will be considered.Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths.
