HE Course Leader in Digital Art (graphic, visual communication, illustration pathway)Fixed term maternity cover starting February 2024- July 2024Weds, Thurs, Fri - 22.2 hours per week£13,783 - £20,259 per annum (£22,972 - £33,766 pro rata)We are seeking a digitally creative and collaborative individual within a Graphics, Visual Communication, or Digital Illustration background. You will be able to demonstrate professional teaching and industry experience to lead on delivering Higher Educationon our Foundation Degree in Contemporary Creative Practice.You will have an excellent understanding of the subject area, as well as knowledge of contextual research and current professional practice within Digital art. You will have a high skill set using Adobe Creative Suite and traditional 2D/ hand skills.The post-holder will work collaboratively within a course team, driven to oversee the course to provide a high-quality industry focussed offer, through inspiring course leadership and managing the overall student experience to be the very best it can be.It’s essential that you are conversant with current professional practices within your field of expertise. You will have experience of teaching at further and/or higher education.
