Job Description

LLDD/Foundation Learning Course Leader Full Time, 37 hours per week £22,972 - £33,766 per annumBurton on Trent, Town Centre campusWho are we looking forBurton and South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic LLDD tutor, ideally holding a relevant teaching qualification, to course lead our successful Pathways Programme.You should be able to motivate and provide outstanding support for learners and have the professionalism to liaise with our foundation learning team and wider college support areas.Extensive knowledge of your subject area is essential along with strengths in communication, differentiation, and behaviour management. We will need you to be self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement, and have exceptional organisational andplanning skills to coordinate the course.The successful candidate will have experience of teaching and assessing learners with a wide range of support and learning needs.Experience of developing learning materials, assessing learners’ work and working to awarding body standards is essential.For more information please contact human.resources@bsdc.ac.ukWhy come and work for usBurton and South Derbyshire College is an Ofsted outstanding College.
