Job Description

Robert Half is working with a large business in Burton on Trent to recruit a Finance Analyst. The role requires someone to be in the office 2 days a week and offers flexiblity to work from home 3 days a week.This role will report directly into the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and support on a broad range of commercial finance duties.

  • Liaise directly with the operations directors to support them on budgeting, forecasting and planning
  • Support on month-end
  • Work in Excel to improve the quality of data across the business
  • Prepare reports using software such as Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI and Qlikview
  • Support on continuous improvement and automation to the finance process
Key Attributes & Qualifications
  • Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Management Accounting / Month - End experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Comfortable using a wide-range of software to manipulate data and provide meaningful analysis
  • Ability to translate complex financial data to non-finance people
