Fashion & Textiles Course LeaderFull time, 37 hours per week (30 hours per week may be consideredplease state availability in your application)£27,304 - £30,743 per annumBurton on Trent, Town Centre CampusWho are we looking forBurton and South Derbyshire College are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and committedlecturer to join their Fashion and Textiles department. You should be able to bring your industry and/or teaching experiences into this fast evolving area. You willdemonstrate an ability to motivate students and work as part of a team to engage and build relationships with our external organisations, institutions and individuals.You will teach on a range of subjects and have experience within one or more of the disciplines covered by the Fashion and Textiles Pathway, this can include fashion design, garment construction, print, interior design andmixed media, with an underpinningknowledge of Adobe CS. To be successful in this role you will hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification in the subject area and have a teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.This post involves day-to-day course leadership including management of learners, planning, assessment, attendance, achievement, work placements and success.
