Job Description

Fabrication and Welding Apprenticeship TrainerFull time, 37 hours per week (Part time hours available)Salary up to £30,742 per annum from Jan 2023 dependant on qualifications and experiencePLUS St Modwens bursary up to £1,800 per year (qualification level dependant)Job offer includes professional development bursary for formal education and training qualifications including:

Who are we looking forWe are looking for an experienced Fabrication and Welding Apprenticeship Trainer Assessor to join our professional Apprenticeship team.You will teach, assess, and support apprentices that are engaged in the new Apprenticeship Standards from levels 2 to 3. You will have a sound knowledge of current Apprenticeship Standards alongside strong communication skills at all levels, to include theability to converse effectively with employers at all levels. You will support and facilitate apprentices learning, liaise closely with employers,management and other College departments to ensure successful outcomes for a cohort of apprentices. As partof these roles you may also be required to deliver part-time evening courses, or assess learners away from College.Industrial and commercial experience within the fabrication and welding industry is essential, alongside an understanding and knowledge of NVQ systems.
