Job Title: Engine Stripper.(all mechanical experience considered)Location: Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire Duration: contract - 3 months + Pay Rate: DOEShifts: days Monday to Thursday - 7am to 5pm Friday - 7am to 1pmHours per week: 44Job overview. The strip down and rebuild of mechanical components for the rolling stock industry. Key Responsibilities.* Be able to strip and replace all the mechanical components to engine as per instruction.* Collect new parts and distribute to the right engines/machinery.* Jet wash engines after final checks before they leave site.* Ensure that waste is disposed of in the correct manner.Background & Experience:* Someone with an understanding of basic mechanical components. Qualifications/Education required:* Previous mechanical experience. Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications ideal but not a necessity for an experienced person.
