Job Description

Working as one integrated function, we are able to continuously strengthenour brands, our enterprise system and our commercial programmes to deliver stronger returns for our owners.Your day to daySupport and lead function wide delivery of best practices and implementation of change management to operational performance of special projects and integrations, through effective collaboration in region andglobally to deliver efficient, aligned, and scalablesolutions across the functional organization and hotels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partners and aligns with Change Management across global stakeholder communities, within C&T and in co-ordination with various other functions
  • Direct leadership of assigned special projects that help C&T and IHG achieve strategic priorities
  • Consult globally with all regions, brands, stakeholders, and regional hotel operators/owners/managers to gather requirements and other input in order to establish change impact and develop suitable solutions, project management, and change plans
  • Partner in decision making surrounding delivery methodologies across the project landscape to drive the most efficient delivery model and increase the speed to market
  • Facilitate collaboration among internal IHG teams to ensure Brands Standards are met by products and services
  • Deep grasp on industry best practices to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support new processes, tools and solutions to achieve better business results.
  • Lead and develop teams of highly experienced, motivated and talented professionals
  • Plan, organize, and own projects and/or subordinate functions within established budgetary and manpower plans; establish goals, performance standards, and operating procedures for assigned functions.
What we need from youEducationBachelor’s degree (Master preferred) with progressive work experience in Business Administration, Management, or Finance or equivalent combination of education and work related experienceCritical expertise & experience• 10+ years progressive work related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/technologies/processes related to the position as well as significant experience managing teams and/or significant complex projects, including a minimumof 2 years in hospitality industry• Demonstrated experience working with multiple cultures and managing hotels/vendors/Owners across different countries within hospitality or related industry• Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation• Demonstrated change management experience in conducting change impact assessments and developing strategic change programs, accounting for regional variations and needs• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of hospitality technology landscape, with ability to contribute to definition of future architecture and system capability roadmaps• Ability to collect, analyze and assess information to draw meaningful conclusions• Strong verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of presenting and discussing technical information, establishing rapport and or influence, consensus building and gaining the understanding of others• Experience in engaging cross functional working partnerships in a global organization• Strong leadership, team building, analytical and thought leadership skillsWhat we offer youAt IHG we give our colleagues greater flexibility and balance – working in a hybrid way, blending remote and office working.
