Job Description

AJR Management Ltd is looking for a Customer Services Executive with excellent communication skills to support customers in Burton upon Trent.   • Full Time, Permanent Position
  • £22,000 rising to £23,500 in April 2024
  • 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, optional flex working available

With over 15 years of experience, we pride ourselves on transparency, exceptional customer serviceand a can do attitude.Due to continued expansion we are now looking for a personable Customer Service Executive to be the main point of contact for clients and customers, efficiently facilitating utility account handovers from housebuilders/housing associationsto their customers.Primary purpose of the Role:To manage utilities for a portfolio of clients in a timely and effective manner in line with our "right first time" customer service philosophy, enabling a smooth transition throughout the process, going over and above in delivering excellent customer serviceto our clients.Key Duties:
  • Answering phone calls.
  • Managing email inboxes and responding accordingly.
  • Processing client data requests including handover and tenancy information.
  • Relationship building with key client contacts.
  • Liaising with customers to manage their utility queries/complaints.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure customer accounts are set up correctly.
  • Ensuring System accuracy, including fixing any duplications.
Person Specification:
  • A motivated and organised individual with the desire to deliver a first-class service and build relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to build relationships with customers over the telephone, refining process and providing guidance to ensure the process run as smoothly as possible.
  • Competent working both individually and as part of a team in an office environment.
  • A quick learner with good keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word and Excel.
  • Common sense approach and great attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
  • Pleasant demeanour with the ability to respond positively and effectively to staff and clients.
  • High degree of confidentiality and accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience:Essential
  • English Language Min Grade B GCSE or equivalent.
  • Mathematics Min Grade C GCSE or equivalent.
  • Basic IT and keyboard skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software.
Desirable
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Experience within utilities
