Job Description

Pertemps are pleased to be supporting our well-established company based in Swadlincote who are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their business on a full time permanent basis.Working Monday to Thursday 8.30am5.00pm and Friday 8.30am4.30pm. Salary - £25,000 per year.To maintain and update the Sales Ledger in an accurate way, ensuring that monies are collected in a timely manner.Duties will include:

  • Chasing account payments to ensure debt days are kept within the company standards
  • Respond to invoice queries and credit requests from customers
  • Account, petty cash and bank reconciliations
  • Check creditworthiness of new customers
  • Monitor credit check e-mail warnings
  • Administer warning letters and court proceedings for late payers
  • Prepare and distribute key performance indicators
  • Control expense claims
  • Control customer deposits
  • Assist personnel with day-end problems
  • This position is a permanent opportunity and would suit an experienced Credit Controller who is able to work within a busy accounts office.
