Job Description

Job Title: CleanerLocations: Burton-on-Trent DE15Hours - Monday - Friday, 6am-8am or 3pm-5pmHourly Pay Rate: £10.50 per hourContract: Temporary OngoingGi Group Recruitment are now seeking to appoint Cleaners to our client based in Burton-On-Trent. The role of a Cleaner is vitally important and we would welcome applications from enthusiastic and hard working individuals. The successful candidate will providedirect support to the unit in order to meet the departmental requirements, specifically by making sure the environment is kept clear, tidy and appropriately maintained.Duties of the Cleaners

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.
  • Ensure that all classrooms, offices, corridors, and common areas are kept tidy and presentable.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed. - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a responsible manner.
  • Assist with the setup and cleaning of spaces for special events or meetings.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning operation.
Experience Required
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate is required.
  • Previous cleaning experience.
  • Experience using a range of cleaner equipment and substances.
  • You must hold or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 1 in Cleaning (or similar), L2 English and Maths and First Aid at Work.
