Childrens Senior Residential Support Worker / Team LeaderRef; 32049Working within a children therapeutic home with emotional and behavioural difficulties aged up to 18 years oldBurton-on-Trent, Staffordshire£27,195 - £28,164 (£11.50ph - £12ph + £40 per sleep in + £2ph hour enhancement for overtime)Permanent and full timeApprox 40 hrs per week including sleep in duties (sleep ins do not require you to be part of the waking night team)We are currently recruiting for a Childrens Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader to work within an emotional and behavioural home supporting and empowering children aged up to 18 years old.Duties - to be involved in shaping and delivering the residential homes Statement of Purpose and supporting the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager and the Residential Support Workers to achieve the same. To provide high quality care services that supportthe needs of children and young people, to be an advocate for their well-being, and to provide strong, motivational leadership to the team.To apply for this role, you will hold;A qualification relevant to the role such as a Level 3 in Children and Young People/ Health and Social Care. Or the commitment to achieve a relevant qualification.Willingness to work towards Diploma 5 in Health and Social CareSignificant experience within a residential settingExperience working with young people with varying levels of learning disabilities, Autism and complex needsIdeally you will hold a minimum of 2years experience residential care worker Knowledge of service requirements and previous experience of working in a care or healthAn understanding of a childs development and childrens physical and emotional needs.In return, you will build a career within an open and honest company who genuinely want the best for their children and young people, and their staff.
