Job Description

Position Type: Part-time, Temporary (3-month contract, with the possibility of extension)Working Hours: 08:30-17:00 Thursday-FridayStart Date: ASAPAre you an experienced Business Support Officer seeking a dynamic opportunityService Care Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Support Officer to join Staffordshire County Council on a part-time basis, working Thursdays and Fridays. This will be an initial contract for 3 months based in Burton-On-Trent, offeringa pay rate of £12.87 per hour.Duties:

  • Undertake various Customer Care duties, including filtering telephone calls, responding to inquiries from the public and other agencies regarding County Council services, and signposting to partner agencies.
  • Accurately record messages, ensuring effective communication, and perform meet and greet duties as required.
  • Input and maintain information systems supporting children and family practitioners, ensuring records are up to date for accurate reporting on performance.
Essential Criteria:
  • Ability to accurately input and retrieve data to support performance management.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or equivalent software packages.
  • Proficiency in office procedures, systems, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with computer-based information systems.
