Business Data Analyst | Burton On Trent | £25,000 per annumMon to Thurs 8am to 4.30pm and Fridays 8am to 1.30pmHybrid working availableA very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Data Analyst to joina global digital industrial leader and supplier to the manufacturing business based in Burton On Trent. This role entails capturing data, and the management and reporting of Spares &Trading(S&T) business data and KPIs. You will support the management of customer demand forecasting, planning and monitoring as well as the development of business processes, systems and digital toolsWhat were looking for:- Ability to demonstrate the companies values at all times- Numerically strong- Resilient- Organisedable to manage multiple issues- Good communicator- Calm under pressure- Can-do attitude- Customer focusedThe finer elements of the role:- Data capture, analysis and reporting- Business KPIs development and reporting- Customer demand forecasting data management- Data management processes development and consolidation- Data capture, analysis and reporting- Business KPIs development and reporting- Customer demand forecasting data management- Data management processes development and consolidation- Support the business digitalisation (eg portal)Key Responsibilities:- Capture data from various platforms to consolidate into information, analysis and reports to support the management of S&T business as usual and new business- Create and manage data visualisations and dashboards from ERP systems or any other systems- Gather and synthesise data from diverse sources to support governance and reporting to management- Consolidate, analyse and report data into company Sales Cockpit in line with Group guidelines (eg pricing impact and time to quote)- Develop, manage and update the digital parts catalogue for a given data domain (SISCAT) ensuring its accuracy and completeness are aligned to the company standards- Develop commercial parts catalogues to support business retention and development- Capture recurring business and new business sales data and report into company CRM system- Develop and generate S&T business KPIs to support the product line- Capture and analyse customer demand profile to determine optimum inventory, and kitting management to support operational execution- Contribute to the improvement of business processes around data, creating recommendations for improvement and working with the wider teams to implement improvementsCherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
