Job Description

Bricklaying Course LeaderLocation: The Stephen Burke Construction Academy, SwadlincoteSalary: Up to £30,140 PLUS Bursary up to £1,800 per year (qualification level dependent)PLUS, up to £11,000 professional development bursary for formal education and training qualifications including:Level 3-5 Education & TeachingLevel 3 TAQA Assessor QualificationLevel 4 TAQA Internal Quality Assurance QualificationLevel 4 HNC in Construction /Civil EngineeringWho are we looking forWe are looking for a Bricklaying Lecturer to join our professional construction team based at our Stephen Burke Construction Academy in Swadlincote. You will teach, assess, and monitor full time and Apprentice students engaged in Level programmes from levels1 to 3, support and facilitate student learning, and liaise closely with management and other departments. As part of this role you may also be required to deliver part-time evening courses.Industrial and commercial experience within the bricklaying industry is essential, along with an understanding and knowledge of NVQ systems and operations.
