Our prestidge client based in Burton is the UKs leading coupling, brake, axle and chassis manufacturer supplying the light trailer market.They are a looking for enthusiastic individuals to join a busy production assembly operation who will play a key part in a focused team assembling couplings and chassis to achieve daily production outputs to meet customer demand.The successful candidate(s) can be from any background that involves a physical workload. Those with previous production, assembly or reading drawings experience will be at an advantage, although full training will be provided.THE ROLE- Working on a production line assembling components- Checking the assembly in line with Work Instructions- Requires manual handling of products (some weighing up to 30kg), good dexterity and mobilityTHE PERSON- No previous experience is required - although candidates with exposure to a production/manufacturing environment would be ideal for this role.- Good attention to detail.- Good literacy/numeracy skills.- Good communication skills.- Self-motivated.- Reliable & punctual.HOURS OF WORK- 38.5 hours per week: -- Monday to Thursday: 7.15am to 4.00pm (15 minute break AM, 30 minute lunch break, 15 minute break PM)- Friday : 7.15am to 12.45pm (15 minute break AM)BENEFITS- Permanent positions- Overtime rates (time and a half following completion of a standard 38.5 hour week)- Full training providedHOURLY RATE- £10.06phFor further information on this position, please contact Ethero Burton on or email your CV to
