Application Support Analyst - SQL. IIS. Growing Software House Burton on Trent, Staffordshire - Commutable from Derby, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Litchfield, Cannock Competitive £ Base + Comprehensive Benefits Package Leading Health CRM Systems house and part of large corporate UK business services company, requires new Application Support Analyst to support products and services for customers wanting to get the best return on investment in their software and solutions. You will guide customers around the features and benefits of their solution, and be responsible for seeing that queries are resolved (based on help desk ticketing SLAs), and schedules are met (hand in hand with Project Managers). Will suit a 2nd Line Application Support Person with good SQL and some exposure to end user training who wants to move up into an exciting customer facing Implementation Consultant role.The Role: Providing application support to customers via telephone, email and remote connection toolsCorrectly and accurately log and prioritise customer queries and issues on the Helpdesk in line with their Service Level AgreementsInvestigate and resolve Helpdesk tickets to customer satisfaction using telephone, email and remote connects where requiredPrioritise and manage helpdesk tickets, updating them as required including from external sources of informationImprove the service and knowledge by liaising with other staff members to gain and transfer knowledge and suggest service improvementsArrange, install & configure Idox products on customer site and internal equipment when required (occasional UK day travel)Candidates who have experience either working at systems houses or business services companies that service Health care settings or having direct experience supporting and implementing systems within NHS / or private clinical settings are of particular interest.Required skills and experience: Proven experience in either a similar software support / implementation role: looking to move up from a back-office Application Support role into something more face to faceSolid Windows server platform experience, low level administration type skillsBasic experience of IIS and basic application debuggingExcellent written, verbal and presentation skillsUsed to working to deadlinesProven problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staffConfidence in building strong customer relationshipsAbility to work independently and collaboratively towards customer successAptitude for data analysis and reportingSQL querying skillsEnergy, passion and drive to deliver customer value!Great career development and a comprehensive benefits package on offer including pension, above average leave, health care, share save scheme and various other discount and voucher schemes you would expect from a larger organisation.Please send CV now and call Tim Morris on to find out moreApplication Support Analyst - SQL.
