Job Description

Pertemps are delighted to be working with a long term client based in Burton On Trent. Are you looking for a new opportunityto work with an ever growing companyAre you Motivated, Organised and a quick learner then this could be just for you!Monday To Friday 9am-5.30pmSalary £19,350 - £20,000 depending on experienceJob Purpose:To proactively administer critical tasks and provide quality support across the business, enabling the smooth running and efficient delivery of customer solutions.Key Areas of Accountability:

  • Opening and accurately sorting post on a daily basis
  • Actioning client and supplier payment allocation requests, ensuring they are reviewed, logged and filed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Effective management of company inboxes to strict KPIs
  • Accurate maintenance of employee absence records
  • Accepting and managing deliveries
  • Carrying out weekly stock counts and ordering equipment and supplies as needed
  • Distributing equipment and supplies as needed
  • Greeting visitors, ensuring they are signed in and advising staff of their arrival
  • Scanning of key documents to ensure easy future retrieval
  • Monitoring the Companys landline voicemail and ensuring calls are passed on in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that confidential shredding is bagged and ready for collection
  • Photocopying, scanning and binding as required
  • Checking Board Room is clear (including tables if necessary) at the end of large Client Meetings
  • Ad hoc tasks as required to support efficient delivery of customer solutions
Person Specification:
  • A motivated and organised individual with the desire to deliver first class support
  • Competent working both individually and as part of a team in an office environment
  • A quick learner with basic keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word and Excel
  • Common sense approach and attention to detail
  • Competent in taking and forwarding messages accurately and promptly
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload
  • Pleasant demeanour with the ability to respond positively and effectively to colleagues and customers
  • Reliable, dependable and willing to pitch in at all times
  • High degree of confidentiality and accuracy
