He is wheelchair dependent and requires assistance with personal care and all his domestic tasks and activities.Presently he is an inpatient at a rehabilitation centre but is seeking to return to live in the community with the support of his team. To start with, we are seeking Support Workers who can provide 23 sessions per week to build up a rapport with our clientand to accompany him to his activities. Once he re-locates to Bury St Edmunds, IP28, he will require support from the hours of 08:0022:00 plus sleep-in.It is essential you hold a full clean driving licence because it will be a requirement to drive the clients wheelchair accessible vehicle. Prior to his accident, he enjoyed many hobbies and sports which include snowboarding and sailing in addition to cooking,reading and travelling. The plan is for him to resume some of these activities with the assistance and support of his team.There will be an opportunity for you to attend a meet & greet / work shadow shifts prior to going livethis is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate where you will receive great job satisfaction.
