Job Description

Overseeing a team of 41 both Team Leaders and Operators within a busy production site ensuring targets relating to Production, Quality, Health and Safety, are met.Client DetailsA leading industrial supplies organisation, providing a wide range of goods and services to industrial and manufacturing markets.Description

  • Working as part of the leadership team, managing 41 staff members
  • Ensure that all resources are available and utilised to meet the sites delivery performance and other KPIs.
  • Ensure regular communications with all team members are maintained.
  • To lead, develop and motivate production teams, focusing on producing products to specified quality standards and customer requirements
  • Drive a performance culture, through the production team to achieve set targets.
  • Manage down time of production equipment and ensure procedures relating to down time are adhered to.
  • Ensure all production employees adhere to company Quality procedures and processes
  • Ensure all production team adheres to company H&S procedures with regard to PPE, accident/incident reporting etc.
  • Manage machine activities to ensure production schedules are achieved and that all plant is maintained to ensure maximum uptime.
Profile
  • Experience managing a production site
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Awareness of Quality, H&S procedures

Job OfferHours - Mon to Thurs 7am - 5pm / Friday 7am - 1:15pm (45 hours per week)Salary - Starting £37,500, after successful probation 40k.
