**Year 6 Teaching Assistant – English or Maths Specialism**An Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school based in Burnage (M19), is looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Graduate to join their team on a full time, long term basis.Pupils behave exceptionally well in and around the school. They are polite, enthusiastic and highly value the opportunities that they get to learn and play at school. The children are passionate about learning and are encouraged by teachers to ‘aim high’. However due to the current lockdown, there are concerns of there being potential gaps in pupils’ learning and extra support is likely to be required to bridge this.Individuals with an English or Maths specialism are encouraged to apply.About the school:

About the role:

£65 - £70 per day

September 2020 start date

Based in a Year 6 class

Provide support to pupils with their reading, writing and maths

On a 1:1 basis and also with small groups

Full time and on a long term basis

Possibility to become permanent if agreed by Head teacher

The Ideal Candidate:

Level 3 qualification or Degree

Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils

English/Maths specialism or extensive experience teaching either topic

Able to identify each childs differences and unique talents in order to then tailor their approach

Academically confident & versatile

Ability to be creative with learning

Have a real passion and desire for education
