Job Description

Overall DescriptionThe cleaner is responsible for providing high quality cleaning support for the Ditchingham site. In addition, the cleaner will be responsible for specific projects as directed by their line manager.The cleaner will report directly to the Facilities Manager at Ditchingham.Duties:

  • Undertake tasks such as helping to maintain high standard of cleanliness in wards, public areas including patient rooms.
  • To assist as required with other cleaning duties
  • Adhering to COSHH regulations
  • Reporting any problems to the line manager
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
    • Required skills:
  • Good attention to detail
  • Working to a high standard
  • Good verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • High level of communication.
  • Responsible and have a flexible approach to work
  • To be respectful of patients and work colleagues
  • To be able to work in a team or alone
  • Making sure all paperwork is completed
  • Previous experience is preferred however full training will be provided
  • Shift work so will include weekend working
