Horizon School seeks to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to join our secondary site in Bungay from Easter 2022. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £50,151 - £55,338 per annum.Horizon School is a 3 site Pupil Referral Unit (Primary, Secondary and Tier 4 In-patient Youth and Adolescent CAMHS) in North Suffolk. Children come to Horizon School for intervention when they require support in managing their behaviour.This can often be at a point of personal crisis or where their underlying needs havent yet been identified, which are therefore creating a barrier to them accessing mainstream education.We are a newly merged school at an exciting point in our journey as we plan for our eventual move to becoming a through school site Key Stage 1 - Key Stage 4 in Lowestoft. We will be moving into premises incorporating our current Primary site but also thedevelopment of a new block, refurbished premises and landscaped outside spaces.About the Assistant Headteacher position:The Assistant Headteacher role provides the perfect opportunity to have autonomy in leadership to run a school site, but still have the support of a Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher.
