Job Description

Reed Talent Solutions are currently working with a Nottinghamshire based GP Surgery to recurit for a Receptionist on a temporary-permanent basis. The post-holder will join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, who have an appetite for innovationand have been part of building a successful new primary care modeRole Information

  • £10.42 per hour, rising to £11.81 after twelve weeks of employment
  • Role to be made permanet based on succesful temporary contract
  • 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri, normal hours 8-4
  • Location - Bullwell
Key Responsibilities
  • Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
  • Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
  • Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team
  • Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies
  • To have a thorough knowledge of all practice procedures
  • To work in accordance of written protocols
