Job Description

Financial Services Administrator We have a truly exciting opportunity for a Financial Services Administrator to join one of UK’s leading wealth management and financial advisory specialist based in Grantham area. The successful candidate will have previous experience working as an administratorpreferably within a Financial Services environment, either an IFA or a Financial Services practice.We are looking to speak with applicant who can demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm along with willingness to contribute to this outstanding Family Business.Main Responsibilities for the successful Financial Services Administrator:

  • Comply with FCA regulation, Data Protection and Anti Money Laundering legislation.
  • Provide administrative support to advisers and paraplanners.
  • Support Advisors and paraplanners in managing their pipeline and portfolio of existing and new business.
  • Manage client reviews, including preparing client valuations.
  • Prepare client reports - these may be in relation to pensions, investments, and other associated financial planning requirements.
  • Liaising with third parties regarding queries and financial information via the phone and email.
  • Obtaining additional information to ensure files are complete, excellent attention to detail is required.
  • Process completed applications including trust documents and monitor progress via regular chase-ups through to successful completion.
  • Action changes to clients’ policies as instructed from fund switches, withdrawals to income payments.
  • Check adviser meeting notes and provider correspondence and use experience and knowledge to correctly identify all action required and set up accurate work tasks.
About the successful Financial Services Administrator:
  • Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain client trust and inspire confidence.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking to complex situations.
  • Minimum two years’ experience of working in financial services sector.
  • Knowledge of the Financial industry related products/ back-office systems (Intelligent Office)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment working with advisors and paraplanners as well as helping other staff.
