Job Description

Ready to find the right role for youBase location - Brownhills, WS8 7DGSalary - £11.81ph (£24,564.80)Hours - 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:30Weekends as required plus a shared out of hours emergency call out rota systemWorking away from home for extensive periods of time on a national basisWe live in a world that needs to take care of its resources, and our mission at Veolia is to Resource the World. We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join our Industrial Services team in Brownhills to work on our clients sites around theWest Midlands Region.Benefits:

What will you be doing
  • Maintain the daily work diary and control day works and variation orders.
  • Carry out regular Health & Safety audits on site.
  • Control Waste Regulation documentation
  • Liaise between the site, customer, office, suppliers and contractors
  • Assist sales staff and Operations Manager in the planning of contracts
  • Maintain accurate records of the hired plant
  • Control delivery notes and invoice records for all materials and equipment delivered
What are we looking for
  • Must have a proven background in supervising teams in an operational environment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Hold IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification.
  • Have an understanding of transport law & drivers hour regulations
  • First Aid at Work, Safety Passport, Mobile Elevated Work Platform, Forklift Truck
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence of working in confined spaces with high-pressure water jetting equipment is desirable
