Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support peoplelead a valued and fulfilled life.You will support a warm and nurturing environment, allowing for the understanding of symptoms, patterns and origins of psychological distress, and will actively encourage children to personalise bedroom spaces to make these feel like a home from home.It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. Shepherds Way, Hatfield AL9 6NNJoin the team at Rhodes Wood Hospital providing care for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders or with learning disabilities who require residential care, working on tailored treatment programmes designed for the individual needsof each young person.There is also an on-site Ofsted Registered school to support young people continue with their education while in hospital. Rhodes Wood Hospital is located on the outskirts of Hatfield, which is easily reachable by car.What you will get:

There are also a range of other benefits including retail discounts and special offers and much more.*The upper salary range is based on an hourly rate of £11.05 per hour working 37.5 hour weeks, plus one full overtime shift every week at time and a third and includes the quarterly retention bonus.
