Are you a Psychology Graduate with a portfolio of clinically relevant experience, looking to kick-start your Psychology careerWhere you get on-the-job Masters degree-level training to become a skilled and qualified Psychology professional, with a permanent position at an established serviceIf you do, then apply before midnight on 6th May to be considered for a place on the newly created Clinical Associate Psychologist (CAP) Apprenticeship.What is theClinical Associate Psychologist (CAP) ApprenticeshipThe CAP Apprenticeship is an 18-month training programme with Elysium Healthcare psychology services and the University of Plymouth, which provides a distinct career path to start working in psychological practice.A Clinical Associate Psychologist (CAP) is a unique role with on-the-job training and, once qualified, you will be retained as a qualified CAP at Rhodes Wood HospitalYou will be trained to be a qualified, British Psychological Society registered Clinical Associate Psychologist, which will enable you to work alongside other psychological professionals providing psychological assessment, formulation and interventions tochildrenand young peoplein inpatient settings, under the supervision of a Practitioner Psychologist.How does it work Rhodes Wood Hospitalpsychology staff, Elysium Healthcare’s regional staff and the University of Plymouth’s academic staff will jointly support you in your learning journey, where your time will be split between online academic learning and working as partof a multidisciplinary mental health team at Rhodes Wood Hospital.Once you have successfully completed the apprenticeship, you will continue your career development in the hospital departments and will have access to various Elysium career opportunities while you continue to build your psychology experience.Interviews will be held on5th June 2024, on site at Elysium Healthcare’s Luton Recruitment Hub, Bedfordshire.   • A Bachelor’s degree in psychology with the British Psychological Society’s graduate basis for eligibility
  • Have lived in UK/EU/EEA for 3 years.
  • Be 2 years beyond any publicly funded psychology training as stipulated by HEE. (https://our-work/mental-health/psychological-professions/funding-psychological-professions-training-programmes).
  • Have a portfolio of clinically relevant experience.

All children and young people have their own en-suite bedrooms. The services emphasise not only the mental wellbeing of young people but also their educational, emotional and physical needs.This site is the primary base for this role, however there may be a requirement to work across other hospitals in the region.What you will get:
