Job Description

Dalton Recruitment is working with one of its key UK clients to identify and secure a new Talent Business Partner who will join the current HR team and take responsibility for the design and delivery of the talent strategy from attraction and recruitmentto onboarding, induction, development and with a keen focus on succession planning, while also playing a central role in the wider HR team to help deliver the overall HR service.Managing a small talent team, the successful candidate will have a passion for delivering talent solutions as part of a broader HR service, driving the various strategies, developing and delivering the processes which will encourage and promote a best inclass experience for all who join or work for the organisation.This role presents a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a thriving national business in a role which balances strategic guidance to the SLT with operational delivery of all services relating to talent, in addition to the broader HR service deliveryin conjunction with the wider HR team.Person specification as follows:

  • CIPD qualified (level 5) and several years practical HR experience with a bias towards talent management / lifecycle in a multi-site dispersed business
  • Confident practitioner of progressive talent management techniques through the complete employee lifecycle
  • Experience in HR analytics and reporting, using metrics to influence decision making
  • Experience in workforce design and succession planning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Good organisational and project management skills
