Job Description

Our client plays a crucial role in ensuring responsible disposal and environmental sustainability. By collecting and recycling a wide range of equipment such as autoclaves, compressors, dental chair packages, suction pumps, and large x-rays, you contributeto reducing waste and minimizing the impact on the environment.Recycling medical equipment is particularly important because it often contains hazardous materials and components that can be harmful if not properly handled. By recycling these items, you help prevent potentially harmful substances from ending up in landfillsor being improperly disposed of, protecting both human health and the environment.Our clients service not only supports the healthcare industry in meeting its sustainability goals but also contributes to the overall well-being of the community and the planet. Its a commendable initiative that promotes responsible waste management andresource conservation.Responsibilities:

  1. Safely drive to various dental practices across the UK to collect large equipment, including autoclaves, compressors, dental chair packages, suction pumps, and large x-rays.
  2. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with dental professionals and staff at the dental practices.
  3. Lift heavy equipment using aids such as tail lifts on a 5-tonne van, pump truck, and trolley.
  4. Ensure the safety of oneself, the equipment, and the surrounding environment during the collection process.
  5. Maintain clear and timely communication with the office staff, keeping them informed of the collection schedule and any potential issues or delays.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to proper lifting techniques.
  7. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to equipment collection and transport.
Skills and Requirements:
  1. Experience in a customer service-oriented role, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with dental professionals and staff.
  2. Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment with the assistance of aids such as tail lifts, pump trucks, and trolleys.
  3. Strong focus on safety, always adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  4. Good communication skills to effectively communicate with office staff regarding collection schedules, updates, and any issues that may arise.
  5. Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient and timely collection of equipment.
  6. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  7. Willingness to undergo on-site training to ensure proper handling of equipment and adherence to safety procedures.
  8. Attention to detail and accuracy in completing necessary paperwork and documentation.
This role requires someone who can effectively represent our client provide outstanding customer service, prioritize safety, and communicate effectively with both customers and the office staff.Interviews with our client to commence in the last week of July.
