Job Description

Trainee Flushing EngineerBromsgrove£18,000-£20,000 + benefitsMy client, an environmental services company are seeking a Trainee Flushing to work alongside an established Engineer and learn all aspects of the field. Experience in water hygiene/flushing is desirable, but not essential as you will recieve full training.They service all sectors, including housing associations, local councils, MOD sites and the education sector. You will be working predominantly within the West Midlands, but also further afield, therefore you will need a full UK driving license and a willingnessto travel nationally!As a Trainee Flushing Engineer with my client, you have a superb and solid opportunity to develop your career in the Water Hygiene and Flushing Industry.They perform their operations out of multiple sites in the country, to deliver expert services including water hygiene and treatment, risk assessments and air hygiene. As a Flushing Engineer based out of West Midlands, your daily duties will largely involvetasks such as:

  • Flushing and chemical dosing of chilled/heated water systems
  • Acid descales
  • Remedial works and power flushing
To be considered, the ideal candidate will possess:
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A strong desire to be successful in the water hygiene industry (knowledge and experience desirable)
  • Experience in a role involving manual work and/or a positive attitude towards physical work
  • Willingness and enjoyment of learning
  • Hard-working attitude
  • Positive attitude towards travelling nationally
