Job Description

Project Manager - Bromsgrove - £60K The Project Manager serves as the functional expert to the Application Engineering team, working closely with our local development and offshore teams. We need a leader to drive continuous improvement, create efficiency and process improvements, while deliveringparallel projects, implementations, and integrations. This person will also assist in the execution of the product roadmap through activities like requirements definition, testing, release management and product feature documentation/training.Project Duties:

  • Understand business initiatives, strategic plans and platform architecture to influence project execution
  • Evaluate how system changes will affect other projects, workflows, data, and reporting
  • Work with the business, IT and implementation partners to optimize, enhance, unify across our platforms
  • Manage product, integration, upgrades and sprit delivery
  • PM background specifically with implementing applications
  • Extensive background with managing multiple workstreams in a fast pace environment
  • Formalize product feature documentation there by creating EPICs, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Build and maintain project schedules that drive reporting and dashboards
  • Facilitate discussions to elicit functional and technical requirements from stakeholders
  • Perform backlog grooming sessions and scrum meetings
Requirements:
  • Understand Project Management Methodologies
  • Strong leadership skills with self-starter capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve is a must
  • High aptitude to quickly assimilate technical concepts and new technology
  • Strong customer focus, including ability to think in terms of customer experience
  • Understand Software Development Life Cycle concepts
  • Solid understanding of Scrum Agile key principles and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Business Analysis Core Standard: the core and most fundamental practices of business analysis as described by the International institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
