Job Description

Fantastic role for a full time Personal Assistant Manager for an experienced manager. based in Bromsgrove. The role will be hybrid with occasional travel to Edinburgh.Client DetailsMy client is a successful insurance business who are looking for a Personal Assistant Manager based in Bromsgrove, with the opportunity to work from home a couple of days a week.DescriptionManage the team effectively through the efficient use of all resources, systems and procedures.

  • Responsible for their team providing a great quality service and customer experience, being proactive to understand and develop others SME knowledge of their aligned Business Area i.e. Open/Heritage/Group, Shared Services
  • Ensure the team are clear on their own goals and how that aligns to the goals and strategy of the business area and the wider organisation.
  • Positively lead and encourage idea generation amongst the PA community to deliver improvements and results.
  • Set clear expectations of what high performance looks like through reward and recognition processes and manage under performance consistently.
  • Actively demonstrate leadership and influencing skills whilst role modelling Phoenix value based behaviours
  • Be the escalation point for colleagues and stakeholders where required service is not up to standing, addressing this through policy, standards, coaching, advice and guidance implementation
  • Pro-actively manage colleagues concerns, training, development needs and resource constraints to achieve positive outcomes.
  • PAs and Exco (+2) escalation point for strategic change, development, demand constraints, model design etc.
  • Will typically manage 12 PAs
  • Typically reports to Executive PA
  • Authority to prioritise own workload and reallocate/prioritise resources within own team/department
  • Driving clear resource and supplier management framework, changes and oversight of delivery to business division alignments
Profile
  • This is a people management role so experience of managing and leading others is essential.
  • The ability to create a motivate and maintain morale within the PA community in a highly engaging way
  • An excellent communicator and influencer
  • Previous Personal Assistant experience is essential
  • Commercial acumen someone who understands the business opportunities and challenges
  • A creative and dynamic thinker
  • Can commute to Bromsgrove
