Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Officer Salary:£26,,000Job Type: PermanantLocation: BromsgroveJob Description for Payroll Officer:Are you an experienced payroll officer Do you like to work for a company with a great cause I have an exciting opportunity with a wonderful company making brilliant changes for a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent. You would besupporting the payroll team with all aspects of payroll. Key Duties for Payroll Officer:-Assist and prepare monthly payroll by liaising with business partners to ensure pay records and business records are kept up to date. -Maintain expense and benefits records including fleet and resolving any differences. -To assist in the preparation of statutory year-end tax returns such as P35, P60, P14 and P11D’s. Reconcile payroll records and record information relevant to year end on a monthly basis. Maintain information required for P11D - business miles, payments formedical health care etc.-To keep updated with relevant changes in employment law, statutory legislation, Real Time Information, Auto Enrolment etc.-Work to tight deadlines and respond in a flexible way to the changing demands of the businessSkills and qualifications required for Payroll Officer:-Payroll knowledge and understanding of UK payroll legislation.-CIPP or equivalent qualifications desirable -Experience of processing activate payrolls-Flexible in approach with strong organisational and prioritisation skills-The ability to work to deadlines and deliver on time- A team player with a positive attitude-Logical approach to problem solving Benefits for Payroll Officer:-35 hour working week -30 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (goes up 1 day per ear up to 35 plus bank holidays)-Company Pension-Life insurance If you feel you would be suitable for this role please click APPLY or email your CV to
